The work for this piece is meant to portray the beauty of science and how visually engaging the basic sciences are. I wanted this piece to be fun, colorful and have a sense of joy especially with the excitement that is portrayed by the faculty and researchers interviewed for this article. The works showcase research done in the fields of math, microbiology, chemistry, and physics and show how all these disciplines interact with one another.
