Season 2 Episode Art
"How to Science is a new podcast from the University of Michigan's College of LSA that insists on exploring beyond the beaker and past stereotypes to see how science is human, beautiful, and accessible. It’s a peek behind the curtain at how scientists are made, so any listener can see that they can science, too."
The logo for this podcast represents the experimentation of science (shown with the beaker) paired with the vulnerability of humanity (shown with the handwritten font). This podcast series presents the case that science is human so I wanted the logo to reflect that. Each episode art illustration and animation tells the story of what the episode is about–whether it's overcoming the risk of having your research satellite explode in space or bringing attention to the water crisis in Flint, Michigan. To listen to the podcast and view season 1 episode art please visit the How to Science website here.
